SCULPTING THE FIGURE AND PORTRAIT WORKSHOP

Location: Oceana Rain Stuart Studios in California
 
Description:
This intensive workshop includes a total of two studio days (14 hours)
of sculpting a 1/4 life-size full figure from the life model and a 1/2 life size portrait. Students will work in plasticine (oil based) clay with armatures from the life model. We will cover classical Techniques and methodologies of calculating measurements, proportion and form development of the portrait will be the focus of this course. Students will have the option to cast their completed their two work in bronze for an additional fee.
 
Dates and Times:
Saturday, November 16, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm (one hour lunch 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm)
Sunday, November 17, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm (one hour lunch 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm)
 
Class size:
A maximum of 6 students will be enrolled to provide
maximum individual attention.

Skill Level:
Beginning to Experienced sculptors are welcome.

Art Model fee: 
Included.

Supplies:
The tools, clay and armature are not included.
